| STUDENT FORUM Competition $100 first place $50 second place Few updates about next week's design competition. The competition is to come up with some conceptual design/ idea/ monument/ building- anything that relates to the World Trade Center. Here are the rules for submissions: -only ONE submission per student -must be one 11" x 17" (horizontal format) -they are due by 5pm TUESDAY, NOV. 13 in the Student Services office Room 422. Entries will be judged by GSD professors from each department and entries will be on display for the GSD potluck. Each participant will also receive a booklet of all the entries. Questions? email Elena Raya at eraya@gsd.harvard.edu ______________________________________________________________________________ OLD GUIDELINES: Each HARVARD GSD student can submit only ONE 8.5" x 11" piece of paper of a conceptual design for the new world trade center. Design entries can be interpreted in many ways including parks, memorials and buildings and just about anything can be submitted (sketches, perspectives, etc.) as long as it fits on one letter sized piece of paper. ENTRIES ARE DUE THURS, NOV. 15 BY 5PM in ROOM 422- the Student Services Office. Participants will receive a booklet of all entries and a copy of the booklet will be sent to the President of Harvard University. All entries will be placed on display Friday, November 16 for the GSD potluck dinner. Good luck and have fun...
